Body Corporate Management

Matthews Body Corporate Management has been a specialised arm of R.Matthews & Son Pty Ltd for 25 years, and is a practitioner member of the Community Titles Institute of Queensland. The staff in this section efficiently attend to the numerous services associated with body corporate management.

Ours is a total service in relation to the Secretary/Treasurer duties of body corporate buildings. Our duties include the collection of levies, preparation of financial statements, general correspondence and liaising with tradespeople to carry out maintenance work to common areas. We also prepare for and attend the Annual General Meeting and one Extra-Ordinary General Meeting or Committee Meeting, if required, (held in either our office or on-site at a time to suit the majority of owners). In general terms, we are usually involved with all matters relating to the Body Corporate, as indicated in our Management Agreement, a copy of which is available for perusal on request.

A major feature is the state-of-the art electronic banking facilities that are utilised by this Company in association with Macquarie Bank. This ensures that owners are able to pay their levies in a variety of ways and at times that are suitable to them, while suppliers of services to a body corporate are able to have their payments made directly into their bank accounts.

Members of our office hold current Certificate IV in Body Corporate Management and Trevor Matthews is a member of the CTIQ, Community Titles Institute of Qld.
